Quartz is an engineered stone created from quartz sands. Each slab of Quartz is approximately made up of 93% crushed quartz minerals and 7% selected polyester resins. These two ingredients are combined together under intense heat and pressure to produce a large variety of colours and patterns. A vacuum is created in every Quartz slab when combining these two ingredients physically making this product completely non-porous. Quartz complies with the strict international standards required for the food industry and safe indoor environments.
Being an engineered stone, Quartz displays consistent patterns that make easy for fabricators to hide seams, and makes this product a beautiful addition to any surface. Quartz is ideal for a wide variety of applications from prestigious large open commercial spaces to intimately detailed interior design solutions in kitchens, bathrooms, flooring and more.
At Stonefacings we are proud importers of some of the top international brands of Quarts such as SMQuartz from Italian leaders Santa Margherita and Polarstone.
